INTERNATIONAL

The Pocatello Rotary Club is a strong annual supporter of the Rotary Foundation, Rotary’s international service arm, including PolioPlus, Rotary’s effort to eradicate polio worldwide. Many club members are “on the ground” for cooperative service projects with other Rotary clubs in Africa and South America.
One example of an international service project in which the club participated is this one:
The Library That Rotary Built: A District Grant’s Global Reach
Active Rotarians agree that they find great meaning and deep satisfaction in being of service to their fellow human beings through Rotary.
It’s Also About Fellowship
There’s something about the company of people of goodwill, dedicated to serving others. Longtime Rotarians will tell you that some of the best friendships you will ever make are through Rotary. And by definition, every Rotarian is a friend first. We have a great tradition in Rotary of using only first names with one another – No titles or salutations. When you’re in the company of Rotarians, you’re in the company of friends. And in the Pocatello Rotary club we make sure club members have ample opportunities to enjoy the fellowship for which Rotary is known.
